The Making of "My Tik Tok Heart" - Multi-opacity placing

The place where to take pics with floating items is the essential. You can only lift items and standing spots to a certain height, so having furniture nodes on different heights is very helpful. In this case, I use a room with a porch, but it will also work with hills, balconies and stairs. I have my nodes on the floor below the porch and behind the rail. The floating items are partly placed on the floor, others hang on wall spots and are turned to look like they float.

I use a lot filters and blended items that would make each other invisible - if the placement wasn't right. To have a better contrast with the black hair, I wear a golden halo - it appaers behind my head, so I can wear my googles and necklace (both would disappear with a blended object in front). The mechanical wings are a furniture item. Other than the accesory mecha wings I can fine tune their position. They are an enhancer, but not blended - no risk of invisibly. Also both clocks are non-blended enhancers. The additional sparkle on the wings is blended, so I placed it behind all other enhancers and filters. The smoke would also make the sparkles, googles and necklace invisible - therefore, it is behind me. Parts of furniture and deco that could disappear are covered with solid items.

As a background, I used the victorian wallpapers of the room, some framed pictures, furniture items and a rug. The rug has a quite dark pattern and would have made the scene less shiny. I placed a sepia filter in front of the rug (on a wall spot) to take the saturation out of it, but keep the pattern. The final snapshot only shows a small part of the complete picture, but all items I used supported this result.
