Enhancers

Enhancers are simple flat panes with a solid or transparent effect on them. They can be blended or non-blended. With a non-blended enhancer, you never have issues with accesory, hair or other outfit parts suddenly disappearing. Blended enhancers will sometimes cause this problem. Tricks and tutorials how to avoid it or work around it can be found in our Tutorial section.
Ambient Rooms
Ambient Rooms are non-locked rooms, flooded with ambient light in a certain color. The light will effect all non-illuminated outfit parts and items in the room, for example enhance the skin tone, give the avatar a sepia look or darken the scene.
Particle Accesories
There are two types of this accesory: head and foot particles. They spread a certain effect or object from the center (head or feet) to the distance. Particle accesories can be used in locked rooms, too and they will appear as outfit part.
Particle Spots
This is the furniture version. The effect spreads from a point of choice - wherever you place it in a room. You can put it on a wall or under the ceiling to change the spreading direction.
Filters
Filters are flat panes with full blending. They enhance the entire area behind them. Filters are mostly used to change the atmosphere of a scene, for example to make a picture look like taken in spring or at night.
Ambi Adapters
Ambi Adapters work like filters and enhancers combined. They are flat panes with a pattern or picture. The difference is that they are not illuminated and will adapt to the ambi light color. If you place the adapter in a green light room, it turns green; in a blue light room, the same item would be blue.
Backdrops & Portable Backdrops
Backdrops, portable backdrops and portable double backdrops are furniture items. They contain static background pictures like a backdrop scene, but you can take them to other rooms - for example ambient rooms - to take your snapshot with a different light effect.
